About the only thing I am almost fully committed to is the draft wheel, in part because I want a long experiment in if it works and second because it makes setting the draft up soooooooo easy -- especially if no one is trading.

Draft Wheel is fun. I'm excited about getting the 2nd best hitter OR pitcher available in next year's draft. I also like the pressure that UKSubs will be under to anticipate my pick every round and try to F up my draft.

You assume we can't go pitcher-pitcher or hitter-hitter at the top of the draft.

And I feel up to the challenge of making your draft miserable, mostly with a series of alarms 5 minutes before my pick is due to make you sweat.

The good news is that I get to fix all of my problems for the playoffs.

The bad news is that I have many problems to fix by tomorrow.

That's ok... Phillies Phans are already bracing for an early playoff exit by their top rated team. Well, at least we have the #3 pick to look forward to! Fingers crossed for Chase Utley or Steve Carlton!

Challenge accepted!

I've gone 57-99 in consecutive years. I can't hit, pitch, or field. But I'm not bad at drawing walks.

The Pirates had a -279 Run Difference. The next worst was Seattle at -111. I was 6 games better than I should have been. In what should be his last big league season, Randy Johnson struck out 33 batters in 174 innings. He walked 67.

But help is on the way. Let's check the draft wheel.

Lucky #13!

I think it was because he started so much as DH that he was too tired to pitch on his days off. (And he didn't have any)  Did you set up a DH who would start every 3-4 days?

Can he pitch in the starting rotation? Because then he will get days off.

Hmm...maybe that's it. His stamina is 1 so the rotation is out
